Biography

Dr. Hadad grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and attended college at the University of Notre Dame with generous support from the Glenna R Joyce Scholarship. While at Notre Dame, he found his passion for teaching. He worked for multiple semesters as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the biology labs led by Dr Michelle Whaley and Dr Mark Olsen. He also conducted computational research in Dr Anthony Serianni’s lab in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. He graduated in 2016 summa cum laude with his BS in biological sciences and matriculated to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2017, he was awarded the Silberstein Research Fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery under the kind mentorship of Dr. Paul Sponseller. He continued to be involved in teaching as a medical student preceptor and peer advisor. He graduated with his MD from Johns Hopkins in 2020.

 

Dr. Hadad is a resident physician in orthopedic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He plans to pursue fellowship training in adult reconstruction after residency. Dr Hadad continues to engage in teaching activities with medical students and residents on his clinical rotations and through the anatomy labs at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. His research interests include investigating racial and socioeconomic disparities after total joint arthroplasty surgery. He is passionate about medical education, specifically regarding strategies to pursue rigorous medical training while maintaining wellness. He strives to educate future physicians to understand their specialization options in healthcare.
